Kees de Visser

As Chair of the Investment Committee, Kees de Visser oversees the evaluation of funding opportunities and commitments across EMEA.

Kees has extensive experience in litigation, including collective redress, arbitration, and the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards against sovereigns, semi-sovereigns, and corporates worldwide.

Before joining Omni Bridgeway in 2016, he practised law at the Dutch law firm De Brauw Blackstone West broek, where he led the private international law team and managed major cross-border litigation and enforcement cases.

He holds master’s degrees in private law, business law, and Dutch notarial law, as well as a Ph.D. in private international law from the University of Groningen. Kees is co-editor-in-chief of the Netherlands Journal of Private International Law and is fluent in Dutch and English, with proficiency in French, German, and Italian.
